If submitting as a Word Document, the proofreader uses track changes. This enables you to see exactly where the changes were made and to decide whether or not to keep them.
The document will be returned with the track changes visible, to enable you to stay more in control of your written words.
If submitting as a Google Document, the proofreaders will select the Suggestion option, which gives you the option to accept or reject each suggested alternation.
